About Pony Trekking at Trevelog Farm
The centre was originally established in 1955 by Trevor Powell. Trevor successfully combined the running of a popular pony trekking centre with a hill farm, along with raising two small girls, Vicky and Cathy.
Vicky and her husband Stephen now carry on the running of the Pony Trekking Centre and hill farm following Trevor's family traditions, bringing up their own three girls Paula, Sally and Jodie. The popularity of Trevelog Farm - Pony Trekking has continued because of the dedication and hard work that Vicky and her family have show over the years.
Our Mission.
We aim to make your time with us as memorable and safe as we can. On arrival at the centre, basic tuition is always given to all trekkers. We will provide you with a riding hat, which complies with the latest health and safety requirements. Laughter, friendship and a good days fun, are all part of the joy of riding at Trevelog Trekking Centre.
Trekkers return time and time again, many who learnt to ride here as children now bring their own children to this unspoilt part of South Wales.
Riders of all standards can enjoy a days riding, the pace is walk and trot with the occasional canter as the terrain allows.
Horse riding / pony trekking is the best way to get out into the mountains and see so much more of the Brecon Beacons National Park here in South Wales.
